About Me

My photo
A little about my artwork: I interpret the words written on a page by telling the story behind the story working with pen and ink, watercolor and Photoshop, I fuse old techniques with modern ones to create a world that every drawing can speak to a child or grownups.

In My Hands

I just wanted to share the finished watercolor my friemd Lisa created for me in a post some time ago I wrote we where doing a exchange, Rieki sessions for a painting. I did not expect her to create one just for me and I don't think she planned it that way but as she worked on it it was screaming my name and I can't agree more I am looking forward to hanging it on my wall.

Wedding

Oh Crap! I drew two Grooms!!!
maybe no one will notice

On Saturday I am off to a wedding it has been a long time since any of my friends got married.
The thought of putting on a suite in this weather is not my idea of fun. But what can you do.

The card is hand drawn and painted in Photoshop.
 I usually make all my cards, it is rare I don't have the time to put something together.

It was a lot of cake;

Mr. Roger's Neighborhood "Mash-up"

I just had to share

PBS Digital Studios partnered with Symphony of Science's John D. Boswell to create "Garden of Your Mind," which is an auto-tuned mash-up video of the late iconic show host Fred Rogers slow-jamming about playing make believe, being curious, and growing ideas.
"Do you ever imagine things?" Rogers "sings" during the song. "Did you ever grow anything in the garden of your mind?"
