About Me

My photo
A little about my artwork: I interpret the words written on a page by telling the story behind the story working with pen and ink, watercolor and Photoshop, I fuse old techniques with modern ones to create a world that every drawing can speak to a child or grownups.

You Don't Need to Cover Your Eyes, It's True!

("Lollipop" inside page artwork from "If Fish Could Drive")
It is finally out and available for all to read
"If Fish Could Drive"
Written by Dana Warren & illustrated by Stephen Macquignon (me)
Book description:
Lollipop is different, and his friend Sprinkles is different, too. Lollipop is a giraffe with stripes. Sprinkles is a zebra with sploshes.
Lollipop wonders if his "normal" family would love him no matter what.

This is the second book I have had the privilege to work on by Dana Warren, the first one that still holds a special place for me is "Colors" also a wonderful book teaching kids all about color!

Available at:

Amazon, & 4RV Publishing book store

(I'm sure in time Barnes & Noble will have it up on there site as well)
